V.16-This one was a big but small one. Let's call it...the Flickr Update. :-P Here's what I did:
  • Here come Flickr.
    • I moved over from Photobucket, to Flickr.
      • They got me with the one terabyte of space and full resolution pictures. The reason why I switched was what I said. Flickr has more space and I can have full resolution pictures. And I really wanted the full res. On Photobucket, my photos went from 4000 by 4000 to 1000 by 1000. I just estimated there, but you get the point. And I had used up 68% of my space. The switch just seemed logical.
    • I moved EVERYTHING over. Everything in the Photo Section.
    • They also have badges.
      • The Latest Photo picture in the side bar self updates from Facebook. Well, Flickr has one too, so I replaced it and in the menu. It seemed more logical.
      • And they have a badge like my Facebook badge in the side bar. But I didn't replace the Facebook one again. Instead, I made a Flickr profile section in the menu (under PROFILES) and put it there.
    • Nothing is lost, everything is still there. I just had to change all the URLs. Nothing is different. It was an easy switch.
      • I did move the Daily Photos Project pictures into the Latest Photos, since they are technically the same.
      • And changed the slideshows in my blog's side bar to Flickr's slideshow and the reason for combining the Latest and Daily things is so they can all be in one slideshow.
  • And that's the big thing, now here's some extra things.
    • Did I mention my music section before?
      • I make a list of the changes I do and it's still in there. Maybe I forgot to delete it.
      • Anyways, the site where I had my Playlist changed there business  So, I replaced it with Spotify. Since I use that too.
    • The new hover warnings I added in the last main update was having a glitch.
      • It would shrink in width and cause everything to stack over itself and....just cause a lot of issues.
        • Refreshing the page fixed it, but it kept happening.
        • So, I just re-loaded the codes and it's fine now. Weird.
    • On some of my pages, I # to make the page auto scroll to a section. Example. See, in the URL is added #6883377871375820782 in the URL so that the page loaded and the title of the page. Instead of just loading.
      • Well, one some pages I made my own # like #v.father for the Father's videos to make it load at the video player.
        • And that because an issue. It used to work, but now the "." in it cause a blooper in the page and the URL and didn't work.
        • So, I changed it to #v-father. And all is well.
      • So, basically I went through # that used a "." and added a "-".
  • Lastly, I did a lot of studying and testing.
    • I looked at all my codes that I have and tried to solve their problems.
      • I looked at the menu's code to see if I can fixed the overlapping issues and why it hates Internet Explorer.
        • My studying came to nothing. I just can't seem to figure things out. I'm doing all this on my own.
      • I looked at the stack of codes at the bottom of my site.
        • I did some testing to see what I can put into it's own .JS codes.
          • Like the animated window loader.
            • It's whole code was at the bottom of the site. A nice long code.
          • So, I tried to see if I can to the JS code and just put it into it's own .JS file and take out all those line of code on my main site...It worked.
          • And I was able to do the same with the Pop Up warning you get when you go to the Membership site.
        • Like I said, while doing all this, I was trying to understand it all and do more testing.
          • It didn't really work.
            • I did learn how to put my JS codes in it's own file.
      • Then, I looked into how to make my site load better.
        • Like, loading bars or an order to what loads.
        • I couldn't find anything.
          • There is some things, but I'm on Blogger and my sites are completely mine. I use Blogger templates and editors  So, I have to go by their rules. I can only change so much with the Site HTML Editor.
        • Basically, my site will load however it wants to load. You'll just have to sit there and wait.
And that's it. I did a lot of reading, solving, and a little bit of testing. I'll get things working better. I'm still proud of everything I have done.
